WHO SAYS COPS AREN’T HELPFUL

ReifschneiderAN OHIO MAN GOT A POLICE OFFICERS HELP IN FINDING HIS LOST MARIJUANA.  IN THE CONTINUING EFFORT TO “SERVE AND PROTECT” POLICE IN ALLIANCE, OHIO GOT A CALL FOR A DISORIENTED MAN WALKING DOWN THE STREET.

WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED THEY OBSERVED A MAN SITTING IN HIS FRONT YARD.  THE OFFICERS INQUIRED IF EVERYTHING WAS ALL RIGHT.  THE SUBJECT, DISHEVELED AND DISORIENTED, TOLD THE COPS THAT HE LOST HIS MARIJUANA.

“HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU LOST IT ?”  “IT’S NOT IN MY POCKET.”  HUMM.

AFTER A QUICK SEARCH THE DOPE (INSERT WHICH ONE) WAS FOUND.  THE GOOF THEN ASKED THE OFFICER IF HE COULD JUST THROW IT BACK ON THE GROUND.  CAN’T DO THAT.  THE SUSPECT WAS GIVEN A SUMMONS AND ESCORTED TO HIS HOME.

WHO SAY’S COPS AREN’T HELPFUL…AND HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR ?

ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE MY GOOD FRIEND AND RIDING PARTNER JAMES REIFSCHNEIDER WAS KILLED ON DUTY 4/30/77.  I KNOW THAT SEEMS LIKE A LONG TIME BUT TO ME IT FEELS LIKE YESTERDAY.  EVERY MORNING I PUT ON MY BLUE BRACELET AND THINK OF MY FRIEND AND HIS FINE FAMILY.  I MISS MY BUDDY, REIF.

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT.
