LAW ENFORCEMENT PLAN OF ACTION

RECENTLY FORMER LAS VEGAS METRO POLICE LIEUTENANT RANDY SUTTON WAS CONTACTED BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION TO WRITE A “PLAN OF ACTION” FOR AMERICA’S POLICE OFFICERS.  YOU MAY KNOW RANDY THROUGH HIS FREQUENT APPEARANCES ON TV AND HIS POSITION AS SPOKESMAN FOR “BLUE LIVES MATTER” AS WELL AS HIS RADIO BROADCASTS ON “ AMERICA OUT LOUD-THE VOICE OF AMERICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT.download-1

WELL KNOWN TO LAW ENFORCEMENT, RANDY CAME UP WITH A NUMBER OF ISSUES THAT WOULD HELP AND ASSIST THE LE COMMUNITY.  LET’S TAKE A LOOK.

  1. SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN AND THOSE OFFICERS THAT ARE “CATASTROPHICALLY INJURED” AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THEIR SERVICE.  TODAY, OFFICERS KILLED OR INJURED ARE OFTEN FORGOTTEN AFTER THE INCIDENT HAS FADED FROM THE FRONT PAGES.
  2. REINSTATE THE 10-33 PROGRAM-GIVING SURPLUS MILITARY EQUIPTMENT TO DEPARTMENTS FOR SWAT OR OTHER MISSION ESSENTIAL USE.
  3. POLICE OFFICERS BILL OF RIGHTS-INTRODUCE LEGISLATION OR EXECUTIVE ORDER TO ESTABLISH A NATIONWIDE “POLICE OFFICER’S BILL OF RIGHTS. THE BALTIMORE 6 COMES TO MIND.
  4. TRAINING-ADDITIONAL TRAINING SUPPORT FOR OUR NATIONS COPS. NOT THE “SOFTER” “IT’S NOT THEIR FAULT” TRAINING BUT RATHER DEFENCIVE/OFFENSIVE TACTICS.  THIS IS BASED ON THE ASTROMINICIAL INCREASE IN ATTACKS AND MURDERS OF OUR NATIONS OFFICERS.
  5. RE-CALIBRATE THE DOJ-FOCUS ON CRIME AND CRIMINALS.
  6. LEOSA (HR 218)-REVIEW THE CURRENT LAW TO MORE SPECIFICALLY DEFINE WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO CARRY A FIREARM.

THESE ARE A FEW BULLET POINTS FOR RANDY’S “PLAN OF ACTION.”  I, ALONG WITH OUR NATIONS LEO’S ARE INDEED ENCOURAGED BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION’S OUT REACH TO THIS FINE AND WELL RESPECTED COP.

NOW, ABOUT THOSE APPOINTMENTS OF CHIEF BROWN AND SHERIFF CLARKE…

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!!

Ken…I stuck some stuff on Coptalk…Most assaults occur when the Officer is busy with the computer, writing reports or on the phone and not aware of his surroundings. Suggest two man cars (two sets of eyes) and report writing done inside a protected area…St. Louis still has a number of “obsolete” District Stations that are built as police facilities…heavy doors that open IN in the lobby/booking areas, a cell block that saves travel time with prisoners, showers locker rooms, firing range and an inside gasoline supply…bad things happen in service stations too. Presently they house various city service offices and the likes of parking meter heads fill the sturdy cells…

Bill: These things you say are true. One must ak, when is a cop NOT vulnerable. Most of the time. Especially when they are engrossed in the computer or MDT and sitting in a car watching traffic etc. All in all looks like the cops have a target on their backs. I blame bo and the doj for their focused and vindictive attack on the nations LE.

Maybe we can talk it over lunch at St. Charles or somewhere out there. Was thing of have Joe Burgoon, Toney Donelli and larry tinelle and others as you may seem fit to invite.

I’ll hit the LOO on the 14th…15hth or 16th would work out well…oh lets make it in the daytime (yuk, yuk)…What say you?? By the way I
m putting the finishing touches on my 4th book, we’ll talk.
