49ERS QB AND THE “OPPRESSION OF PEOPLE OF COLOR”

DURING A PRESEASON FOOTBALL GAME THE 9ER’S QB REFUSED TO STAND FOR THE PLAYING OF OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM.  HE SAID IT IS IN PROTEST DUE TO THE OPPRESSION OF “PEOPLE OF COLOR.”  LET’S TAKE A LOOK.

LAST YEAR OVER 8,000 BLACKS WERE KILLED BY OTHER BLACKS.  MOSTLY YOUNG, GANG AFFILIATED AND UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF AN OUTLAWED DRUG OR NARCOTIC.  IN THAT SAME PERIOD LAW ENFORCEMENT KILLED 135 BLACK AMERICANS WHO WERE RESISTING ARREST OR FLEEING AN OFFENSE THAT PUT OTHER CITIZENS AT RISK.  IN EVERY CASE ALL THE OFFENDER HAD TO DO WAS LISTEN AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE OFFICER(S).  IT’S NOT DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS OR ROCKET SCIENCE…JUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS?  HOW HARD IS THAT?

ADDITIONALLY, THE INNER CITIES ARE BESET WITH YOUTHFUL DRUG DEALERS WHO ARE SPREADING THEIR OWN BRAND OF POISON TO A POPULATION THAT WILL COLLAPSE UNDER THE WEIGHT OF ADDICTION AND VIOLENCE.  YOUNG WOMEN OF PROMISE ARE TURNED OUT AS PROSTITUTES LEADING TO, IN MOST CASES, A SHORT VIOLENT LIFE.  LIVES THAT DON’T HAVE TO SUCCUMB TO THESE CIRCUMSTANCES.

A MAN WITH A GOD-GIVEN TALENT TO THROW A FOOTBALL HAS THE AUDACITY TO SAY THAT THE COUNTRY IS “OPPRESSING” A SEGMENT OF THE POPULATION IS NOT GROUNDED IN REALITY BUT RATHER THE ESSENCE OF A PAMPERED AND PLACATED LIMO LIBS WHO HAS DONE NOTHING TO HELP OR CHANGE THE CURRENT ENVIRONMENT.  HE HIDES OUT IN  HIS 19 MILLION DOLLAR MANSION AND PONTIFICATES.  SAVE YOUR BREATH DUDE.

STAY SAFE, BUCKLE UP AND WEAR YOUR VEST!!
